Lucy & Dan’s Wedding

We have been so busy this summer and Ive been wanting to blog all the beautiful weddings I have been shooting over this season to hopefully give you some ideas for your own weddings.

When I first met Lucy she seemed a little apprehensive  of having photos taking in the morning as she was getting ready, but I was able to quickly dispel her fears and during the pre wedding shoot she realised that having her photo taken wasn’t actually that bad!
By the morning of the wedding I was able to show her on the back of the camera what she looked like and finally she was able to forget about her anxiety of being photographed.
This resulted in a lovely set of images from the morning with all the girls around her getting ready.

The beautiful wedding of Lucy and Dan took place in Blundellsands Crosby at St Michaels Church, followed  by a reception in the church hall and Marquee set in the grounds. This was a fabulous opportunity to see what the church had to offer in terms of staging a wedding reception and I must say it looked amazing. Both families live very close to the church so it was a lovely idea to have the reception there also. We were also able to use the family gardens for photographs as the houses were so close to the church.

Lucy looked stunning in her very elegant gown and all the bridesmaids looked very elegant too in silver grey gowns. The white hand tied calla lilies matched this look perfectly. The little flower girls looked gorgeous, Dan and all the gentleman looked very dapper in their grey suits especially Lucys’s page boy who was also a very keen photographer.  It turned out to be a very relaxed and lovely day full of laughter and fun. These are just a few images from the day. Hope you like them!

We wish Lucy and Dan a blissful marriage together and of course not forgetting their dog Max who unfortunately count attend the wedding.

Love Sam & Neil xx
