Fashion at The Williamson Art Gallery
One of my favourite places is  Wirral’s hidden gem, The Williamson, My photographs had been exhibited as part of an Exhibition many years ago and from that time I had always thought of the Williamson being a hidden treasure. Fashion at The Williamson Art Gallery was created when Nigerian Fashion designer Nonyelum Okonkwo Nonyelumm contacted me to shoot part of her Couture evening collection  Inspired by the diverse ethnic heritage of Africa exemplified by our strong women, Strength, Fluidity, and Grace. Modelled by the fabulous Lilly Von Pink, we felt that the room gave us an opulent backdrop to Nonyelum’s designs.
Colin Simpson Principal Museum’s officer, very kindly facilitated this for us.
This is a fantastic place to visit, For more information see THE WILLIAMSON ART GALLERY & MUSEUM
I’d like to see an exhibition of the photographs and the dresses at the Gallery – I mentioned it to Colin and it peaked his interest. I’m the Development Manager at the Gallery.
Stunning fashion in an equally stunning location. Beautiful work.
