St George’s Hall Wedding Photography by Samantha Brown
St George’s Hall provides a beautiful setting for your wedding celebrations, with the splendour of this magnificent Neoclassical building and its grand gardens, this makes a stunning backdrop for your wedding photographs.
Behind the gold leaf and porticoes, the Hall has one of the greatest brick arches in the world and houses a priceless mosaic floor of 30,000 tiles. When the unique Minton tiled floor was uncovered to mark the Hall’s centenary in 1954, more than 100,000 people queued to see it. The Hall is also home to a concert organ complete with 7,000 pipes, second only in size to the organ in the Albert Hall. Why not choose to marry in this opulent heritage centre.
I have photographed so many weddings here and find the setting amazing and very beautiful, the stone work and coloums make a wonderful backdrop for portraits and the stairs and gardens make a great place for groups. Ive used a mix of natural light and off camera flash. This is a stunning setting with so many exciting places for photographs.
