Rob & Cat’s Meols Hall Wedding

Rob & Cat’s Meols Hall Wedding took place at the beautiful venue of Meols Hall, Churchtown,  Southport.  It was a dry sunny November day and the last of the  autumn colours were just filtering through the trees with a touch of gold here and there.  Neil and I started the bridal preparation images at the Vincent Hotel in  Southport where the bridal party were getting ready.
Cat’s bouquet was a gorgeous mix of deep red roses, calla lilies, berries  and eucalyptus.  Her gown was stunning and Cat looked so beautiful.

Rob and his party had also been getting ready at the hotel. They all looked very handsome in their grey suits and they met us in the reception area with family to get a few photos before traveling on to Meols Hall.

There was a beautiful ceremony at the Tithebarn followed by a lovely reception in the courtyard . Luckily with the weather staying dry we were able to take all the guests out to be photographed outside and afterwards we took Rob & Cat out under the trees in the lovely autumn evening. Autumn is my favourite time of year with fantastic colours everywhere and nature settling down to sleep for the winter ahead. Its just such a magical time of year.

Meols Hall is Southport’s historical manor house dating back to the early 12th Century. Set in one hundred acres of private parkland close to the picturesque village of Churchtown, this is one of the oldest settlements on the Lancashire coast. It makes a stunning setting for weddings as the grounds are beautiful and make a splendid backdrop for photographs. I have photographed a few weddings here now and Im very fond of this venue for the opportunities it gives the photographer.

The party got into full swing and a wonderful time was had by all!
