Nic & Si’s Meols Hall Wedding
On the 25th of September, Nic & Si’s Meols Hall Wedding took place at the beautiful venue of Meols Hall, Churchtown, Southport.  It was another stunning sunny September day and the autumn colours were just beginning to filter through the trees with a touch of gold here and there.  Neil and I started the bridal preparation images at the Ramada Southport. Nicola and her mum , her sister and  her cute nephews were all getting ready at the hotel and the morning preparations were really relaxed and lovely. Nicola’s bouquet was a gorgeous mix of ivory roses and eucalyptus.  Hew gown was stunning! in Ivory Lace with a floor length veil.
Just across the way, Si and his best man looked very handsome in their navy blue suits and they met us in the Hesketh Arms in Churchtown enjoying a pre wedding beer! There was a beautiful ceremony at the Tithebarn followed by a lovely reception in the courtyard . with the beautiful weather we were lucky enough to be able to take all the guests out to be photographed on the lawns and afterwards we took Nic & Si out in grounds in the lovely evening dappled  light.
Meols Hall is Southport’s historical manor house dating back to the early 12th Century. Set in one hundred acres of private parkland close to the picturesque village of Churchtown, this is one of the oldest settlements on the Lancashire coast. It makes a stunning setting for weddings as the grounds are beautiful and make a splendid backdrop for photographs. I have photographed a few weddings here now and Im very fond of this venue for the opportunities it gives the photographer.
The party got into full swing and a wonderful time was had by all and we wish Nic & Si a blissful married life together
