Mitton Hall Wedding
Lauretta & Ash’s Mitton Hall Wedding took place on the 22nd September 2016. I’m finally catching up with my blog posts!
The couple were married at St Michaels & St Johns Church Clitheroe followed by a reception at Mitton Hall.
Mitton Hall is a magnificent 15th Century Manor House set in its own grounds in the beautiful, rolling countryside of Lancashire’s Ribble Valley 4 miles from the market town of Clitheroe. Both historic and contemporary, a unique combination that has earned a reputation that is second to none and established Mitton Hall as one of the best wedding venues in the area.
The building is a beautiful Manor House with wooden panelled rooms, a spacious reception area and balcony around the first floor.
There are extensive gardens to the front and the back of the building and the sun sets at the back making this a lovely area for the golden hour shots with the couple.
The morning bridal preparations ran smoothly at Mitton Hall. Lauretta, her mum and the girls had all had a leisurely morning while Ashley the groom was getting ready at a relatives house nearby.
Lauretta looked absolutely stunning in her lace gown with a hand tied bouquet of pink and red roses. The bridesmaids looked lovely in soft shell pink.
Ashley looked very handsome indeed in his blue/grey sharply cut suit.
The ceremony was lovely and very emotional at St Michaels & St Johns Church Clitheroe, their family priest had accompanied them from Liverpool which was lovely, afterwards the guests made their way over to Mitton Hall for the reception.
I wish Lauretta & Ashley a blissfully happy marriage!
